Toughness That Hardens Under Impact.

Austenitic Manganese Steel, also known as Hadfield Steel (12-14% Mn), is unique because it work-hardens under severe impact. The outer surface becomes extremely hard while the inner core remains tough and ductile, preventing breakage in crushers and mining equipment.
